I'm speechless

I really just don't know what to name this post... I have been done with finals for about three days now; I had my last one on Thurs. I'm glad they're done, but now I don't know what to do with myself. Yesterday, after sleeping in, I took a nap in the afternoon. It was nice, but I NEVER takes naps. Weird. I need to start worrying about the Praxis, my teaching test, but I just haven't yet...

On another note, I came across a mac&cheese recipe that is sooooo good. If you know me, you know I LOVE mac&cheese. My grandpa's is the best, but I just can't make it like him. It never tastes right and is way too hard to clean up. So, there's a new one that I think is A-Mazing. Here goes:

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1/4 cup butter or stick margarine
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard (I don't use this)
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce (I don't use this)
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheese

1. Heat oven to 350
2. Cook macaroni as directed on package.
3. While macaroni is cooking, melt butter in 3-quart saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat. Stir in cheese until melted.
4. Drain macaroni. Gently stir macaroni into cheese sauce. Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole. Bake uncovered 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.

Yay! I'm glad you shared the recipe. One more thing I can add to my menu.
